WEEK ONE New York City in Chaos: No Room To House the Migrants, Migrants Now Sleeping on the Streets, State Supreme Court Judge Now Involved
On Thursday July 27, Mayor Eric Adams went with a delegation to Washington D.C. to ask for help, they got a DHS liason - and no money or help. The following Monday they held an angry rally - venting their furstrations. This was followed by the busiest news day of the week for the topic of migrants in NYC - Wendesday August 2, 2023.
On the 2nd, the city health declared the migrants were bringing contagous Tuberculosis and Polio with them. College students are now helping the migrants with paperwork. More angry letters from N.Y. lawmakers. A plan to use Central Park for tents to house migrants -- as now the hotels are full.
Lastly, over the last few days it has been reported that the incoming migrants are forced to sleep on the street or on the buses they arrived in.
This brings us to Friday - as the city has been forced to put migrants in Brooklyn Recreation Centers. Also an emergency court hearing with the State Supreme Court Judge has put the onus on the Governor of New York to deal with it's right-to-shelter legal requirements. City officials continue to plead for work permits for the migrants who still have not filled out the paperwork. Lastly, the infamous "Naked Cowboy" has shown up for the cameras in front of one of the Migrant Processing Center.

Alleged Leader of Cartel enforcers Extradited from Tijuana BC to San Diego CA
Yesterday the timesofsandiego.com had the story. Yesterday, other San Diego outlets got the story out.
The big news in the San Diego area was: sandiegouniontribune.com Edgar Herrera Pardo, the alleged leader of a group known as Los Cabos, was extradited from Mexico to face federal drug-trafficking charges. He led a group of enforcers called Los Cabos who worked to secure the Baja California corridor for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (aka CJNG).
The Mexican Cartels hack the CBPOne App by Exploiting a Loophole with VPN
From newsmax.com Cartels have been selling immigrants a service that provides them with an Internet connection through a virtual private network (VPN) - one that overrides a server so that the app cannot tell if migrant is in northern Mexico.
Implied but not stated plainly - in many of the reports - is that a person using the CBPOne App is supposed to be in Northern Mexico, but a VPN tricks the CBPOne App into thinking it is in northern Mexico regardless of where they actually are in the world.
