For weeks local residents and borough officials have protested and worked to stop the migrant center (formerly a catholic school) from opening. The day the migrants were moving in a judge signed the restraining order to stopping the move. Within hours (on that friday) an appeal was granted until Monday.
As local residents are celebrating the moving in of migrants in one neighborhood, the arrival of migrants in other neighborhoods is still causing grief. Now the President of the local Police Union is vocally complaining in local news papers - as more #illegals arrive.
