Chicago & New York City press the White House for Work Permits for Illegals, NY Gov. Hochul met with DHS Sec. Mayorkas and W.H. Chief of Staff Zients

NOTE For months NYC has been asking the White House to expedite work authorizations for the so-called asylum-seekers. Thursday, Chicago and New York Officals sang in chorus to press for action. This after Wednesday, Gov Hochul met with Biden administration officials and stated that Septemeber would be "a month of action". Regardless, by there own admission migrants would have to wait at least 150 days after they apply for asylum. This flys in the face of reality when - even after months in NYC - 70% had not applied for asylum.

washingtonexaminer.com | Chicago Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson called on the federal government to fast-track work permits for asylum-seekers, saying America's third-largest city is running out of resources to care for a growing migrant population that has already hit the 13,000 mark.

abc7ny.com | NYC Mayor Eric Adams, along with other city officials and labor unions, held a rally calling on the federal government to allow the thousands of asylum seekers in the city to work. :: Currently, a migrant must wait at least 150 days after they apply for asylum to then apply for a work permit. Officials say migrants are ready to provide for themselves and their families.

  12. Mexico President Confirms Cartel Enforcers gets the Upperhand When Now-Suspened Texas Guardsmen Saved Migrants on Mexican Land

NOTE As we suspected when the incident was first reported, those with a hyperbolic voice would be proven wrong. This includes La Verdad (the Juarez news outlet) Uriel J. breitbart.com Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador criticized the actions of a Texas National Guardsman who fired at a suspected cartel gunman from across the border to save a group of migrants being attacked. Even though the Texas soldier saved the migrants from imminent danger, the Mexican politician claimed the shooting was an affront to his country's sovereignty. :: The statement from Lopez Obrador confirms a report from Breitbart Texas where U.S. law enforcement sources stated that the guardsman fired when he saw a man with a gun on his waist swinging a machete at a group of migrants that were trying to cross the border.

washingtontimes.com The soldier says he shot the Mexican man in defense of a migrant who the man was allegedly seeking to harm, and the soldier fired first into the air, López Obrador said at a news conference. :: A different account of Saturday's shooting was given by Enrique Rodriguez, a spokesperson with the Chihuahua state prosecutor's office, who says the 22-year-old Mexican man was shot while jogging. The man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the buttocks and has since been released, Rodriguez said.
